Ickenham
is still considered by many of its residents to be a village. It certainly
retains much of a village atmosphere with St.Giles Church
and the Coach & Horses Inn alongside the village pump which dates
back to 1335, adding to the charm of the old Village centre.
These five new luxury family homes at Highfield Drive are conveniently
placed for local amenities and situated in a Cul-de-sac off the much
sought after and prestigious location of The Drive.
The highly regarded reputation of the education in this area is a reason
why many people choose to live here, with Vyners and Douay Martyrs schools
particularly sought after.
Recreation facilities are in abundance. Ickenham Cricket Club is close
by and there are several excellent golf courses to choose from, both
private and public. Moor Park, The Buckinghamshire, Denham and Harefield
Place courses are all within a few minutes drive. The Chimes
centre in Uxbridge, a five minute drive, provides one of the finest
shopping malls and cinema complexes to the west of London, where many
of the countrys leading retailers are located. The area also boasts
many fine village restaurants and pubs.
For Commuters The Metropolitan and Piccadilly Tube lines from Ickenham
and give regular services to The City and The West End.
